Inside Stacey Solomon's seaside getaway as she heads on Father's Day trip with Joe Swash
Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have headed away for a family trip to the seaside for Father’s Day.
The mother-of-five shared snaps of their trip away in a fun getaway where they’ve spent quality time together lapping up the sun and having a dip in the ocean.
On her Instagram stories, Stacey shared a snap of the view from inside their holiday home with the caption: “Made it. Straight into the sea. Going to have my & go join them”.
Stacey then shared a snap of her son Rex, five, and daughter Rose, two, standing on the sand with dirt up to their knees. Along with laughing emojis Stacey wrote: “So glad we put their nice clean clothes on @joeswash”.
Stacey also shared a snap of the family handling a crab on the beach as Joe filmed them. Stacey wrote: “Guess who had to get them all out of the net because someone was too scared? Great catch @joeswash the way Rex instantly wipes his muddy hands on my jumper.”
Later, Stacey also shared a picture of her hubby Joe looking away from her, at the sink. She said: “Every year I make Joe a Father’s Day video & he cries EVERY time”.
Stacey shared on Instagram a Father’s Day reel filled with short moments of Joe with the kids over the years and declared ‘You're the most incredible father. We are the luckiest’.
The family took a break from their beautiful home of Pickle Cottage where the skilled DIY-er Stacey has revealed the latest addition to her garden, and it is something she has always dreamed of – a zip line.
Alongside a video showing Stacey, husband Joe and their children trying out the zip line, Stacey wrote: “Pickle Cottage Zipline. Honestly this has been a dream of the kids, and quite honestly mine & joes forever."
Stacey continued: “So this year, we decided to say “f” it again and get a zipline. Here she is. 50ft of happiness from tree to tree. So grateful to have the space to be able to do this.
"And to have found a small business who installs these. Because until I realised how much maths and physics you needed to calculate to put one of these in it was going to be a DIY which would have 100% ended in disaster it’s much more complicated than you think.”
