The cast for I'm A Celebrity 2021 has been announced confirming that Richard Madeley will be going into the castle.

Richard Madeley - TV presenter & journalist

Good Morning Britain host Madeley was rumoured to be taking part this year and then fuelled speculation further by mysteriously going missing from screens around the time the cast's isolation period began, shortly after signing a deal to host the ITV breakfast news show.

Madeley admitted he was looking forward to the trials, having been a fan of the show for years.

He said: "I really hope I do get voted for the trials. The thing about this programme is you mustn’t go into it if you take yourself remotely seriously. I don’t and I am thoroughly looking forward to being covered in god knows what."

Louise Minchin - Broadcaster & ex BBC Breakfast host

Madeley will be joined in camp by a fellow broadcaster - Louise Minchin, who recently quit her long-running role hosting BBC Breakfast and had been rumoured for camp.

Dame Arlene Phillips - Choreographer

Another confirmed campmate whose name had been touted for the series is Dame Arlene Phillips, choreographer and former Strictly Come Dancing judge, who will be the show's oldest ever campmate at 78.

This year's sports stars in camp include football legend David Ginola, Olympic Gold medallist Matty Lee and Paralympic Gold medallist Kadeena Cox, who recently won Celebrity MasterChef - which is sure to make her a popular campmate with the other contestants.

She is a four time Paralympic gold champion and one of the British stars of this year’s Tokyo games but Kadeena Cox readily admits going on I’m A Celebrity will be mentally tougher than anything she has ever done before.

Fans of the show may have noticed that the cast of 10 is a little smaller than the full cast of 12 in previous years, but with late entrant celebrities often introduced after the series start, we're expecting to see a couple more contestants head into the castle.

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! begins on Sunday, 21 November at 9pm on ITV.
