It’s official: Meghan Markle‘s latest look has cemented her status as a member of the royal family.

On Saturday evening, the 36-year-old updated her newfound royal wardrobe with one of her most Buckingham Palace-approved get-ups to date.

The former actress celebrated the Queen’s 92nd birthday in style, as she arrived at the Royal Albert Hall in a cape dress by Stella McCartney (which boasted a princess-worthy £1,150 price tag).

The duchess-to-be accessorised the look with a Naeem Khan Armory Zodiac clutch which weighs in at £3,054. But for those of you hoping to splash the cash on her chicest accessory yet, it’s already sold out (courtesy of the Meghan Effect).

Perhaps what’s most interesting to note, is that it’s the first time the soon-to-be newlyweds have colour co-ordinated on a royal engagement and if that isn’t couple goals then quite frankly, we don’t know what is.

And April 21st is a date to bookmark, as Meghan demonstrated her sartorial prowess in not one but two seriously covetable looks.

Earlier that day, the former actress joined Prince Harry at the Invictus Games Sydney Reception in a spring-ready dress by Self-Portrait.

A matter of hours after the 36-year-old stepped out in the highly-publicised look, the £300 dress flew from the shelves. But the good news is, those hoping to bag the Meghan-approved number can now pre-order the look in time for summer.

The former actress accessorised the heatwave-appropriate look with £495 Manolo Blahnik heels and a £1,245 co-ordinating blazer by Alexander McQueen (FYI, it’s on the verge of selling out).

And after delivering two knock-out looks in one fell swoop, the great wedding dress saga continues as the nation deliberates what Meghan will don on May 19.

Stay tuned.
