·1-min read

Christmas is just around the corner. Well, after Halloween and Thanksgiving of course. But, yeah, Christmas will be with us before we know it, so it’s time to start thinking about Christmas food, which just so happens to be one of our favourite things to think about.

Most supermarkets, including Marks & Spencer, Asda and Waitrose, have released its Christmas food ranges, and now we know what we can expect from Iceland this festive season.

As well as your classic Christmas food options like turkeys, Christmas puddings and nut roasts, Iceland also has some more exciting festive food bits to add to its Christmas range.

First up, how do King Prawns In Blankets sound? Yup, we’ve all had pigs in blankets, but sausages are soooooooooo last season, so let’s wrap tasty, succulent king prawns in bacon instead, shall we?

Then there’s Iceland’s Mac & Cheese Tart, which sounds outrageous. It’s a baked puff pastry tart filled with cooked macaroni pasta in a creamy vintage cheddar cheese sauce, topped with golden toasted breadcrumbs and grated red Leicester cheese, and finished with a seasoning of parsley.

And another Iceland festive treat we’ve got our eye on are the Mini Lasagne Bites. These are cooked fettuccine pasta mixed with a succulent tomato and beef sauce and grated vintage cheddar and mozzarella, finished with a coating of golden breadcrumb.

It’s safe to say Christmas is looking hella tasty this year, thanks to Iceland.
