Shopping for gifts can be tough, especially when it comes to your family and friends.
If you're scrambling to find the right gifts, tech is always a great place to start — the usefulness of tech gifts means they're much less likely to end up at the bottom of the receiver's junk drawer.
Cody St. Martin, an advisor from Best Buy, told Yahoo Canada that some of the hottest tech products this holiday season include gaming consoles, tablets, fitness watches, smart home tech and headphones.
This year, supply chain issues are also a major reason why people should start shopping early. It's a good idea to get the things on everyone's Christmas list as soon as possible (ahead of Black Friday if possible) because it's unclear if retailers will be able to replenish stock ahead of the holidays.
St. Martin warns that the hottest tech will sell out the fastest this holiday season — which is an added reason to shop early,
"We are encouraging customers to shop early to get the products they want at the best prices," he added.
