As we get older, it becomes clear that we were meant to meet certain people during our lifetime. It also becomes clear that some must fall by the wayside - or we must cut ties with them. Obviously, it's always better to let circumstances unfold in a way that does this sensitively and mutually. Try to bear that in mind before you do any 'severing.'
