Home and Away legend Kate Ritchie on whether she'd return to the show
Former Home and Away star Kate Ritchie has said that she is "absolutely" up for returning to Summer Bay.
Ritchie made her Home and Away debut as Sally Fletcher in the very first episode in 1988, and she stayed with the character for 20 years before leaving in 2008 to pursue a career in radio.
However, during her new gig on air with radio duo Ryan Fitzy and Michael Wippa, the former soap star said that she would return to the Bay if the right person asked her to.

After Fitzy asked if she would do one last show should Home and Away "wrap up" the soap Neighbours-style, Ritchie replied: "Absolutely!"
The radio host then said that she would only return if Ray Meagher, who has been playing Alf Stewart since the very first episode of Home and Away, asked her to come back.
"I think it would always come down to the fact, regardless of how old I was, if Ray Meagher asked me to come back, to change the sheets in the caravan park, I'd be there hands down," she said.

Ritchie previously admitted that she would love to return to acting, saying: "The acting world could be likened to an old lover that still owns a little part of your heart. I do foresee [returning to acting] in my future and I would like to think there are plenty of people around me making those decisions that see that too."
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 and streams on 7plus.
