Home and Away horror for Colby Thorne as a body is found

From Digital Spy

Home and Away spoilers follow from this week's Australian-pace episodes, which some UK readers may prefer to avoid.

Home and Away's Colby Thorne will have a major problem as villain Ross Nixon's body is found.

In scenes airing in Australia this week and in the UK in a month's time, police officer Colby (Tim Franklin) is enjoying a reunion with Amber Simmons (Madeleine Jevic) when he gets the dreaded phone call from his sergeant (via TV Week).

Ross was shot dead by Colby in February 2019, with Dean Thompson (Patrick O'Connor) helping Colby to cover up the death as they buried the body and destroyed Ross' car. Willow Harris (Sarah Roberts) and Bella Nixon (Courtney Miller) also know the truth about what happened.

Upon learning that Ross' body has been discovered, Colby immediately meets up with Dean, Willow, and Bella.

A panicking Bella thinks the four of them should flee from Summer Bay but Colby convinces the group to stay put, adding that his job will allow him to receive updates about the investigation.

Star Tim Franklin told TV Week: "Colby isn't new to the inner workings of a murder case and knows running would solidify their guilt.

"The closer he is to the case, the more likely he is to stay one step ahead of it."

However, the group struggles to deal with the pressure of the investigation as the week continues, with Bella in danger of cracking as the prospect of her brother being caught gets to her.

Dean – whose relationship with Colby becomes strained – also faces pressure from Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman), who has a feeling that something isn't quite right.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia).
