During her first trip to the United States in 1985, Princess Diana attended an event hosted by then-President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan. One of the highlights of the night was, undoubtedly, when the Princess of Wales and the ‘Grease’ actor hit the dancefloor! - 3/11

Lady Diana met Mother Teresa of Calcutta back in 1992, in Rome, and from the very beginning the bond between them was very special. Following Diana’s death, Mother Teresa sent her condolences to the family, describing her as "a very good friend, in love with the poor, a very good wife, a very good mother.” The nun, who passed away just days after Diana's tragic death, added: "She was very concerned for the poor. In his autobiography ‘Me’, the ‘Rocket Man’ singer recalled his first meeting with the princess. He wrote: “That night in 1981, she arrived in the ballroom and we immediately clicked. We ended up pretending to dance the Charleston while hooting at the disco’s feebleness.” Elton also performed a unique version of ‘Candle in the Wind’ at Princess Diana’s funeral. - 11/11

In her book 'The Power of Positive Drinking', the comedy actress Cleo Rocos recalled a night she spent with the famous duo. After deciding to go to the gay club Royal Vauxhall Tavern, the group agreed on dressing Diana up as a man, so she could enter unnoticed. Rocos wrote: “We were nudging each other like naughty schoolchildren. Diana and Freddie were giggling... Once the transaction was completed, we looked at one another, united in our triumphant quest. We did it!”
