What is her net worth?

The Celebrity Bear Hunt presenter is estimated to be worth an impressive £10 million, as reported by Hello!. Outside her presenting career, the 43-year-old has had lucrative partnership deals with Marks & Spencer, Garnier and Dunelm and reportedly received a six-figure salary for these deals. She also had a commercial deals with Diet Coke, Oral B and BHS.

In 2007, the presenter married TV producer Dan Baldwin and the couple have three children together. They also share a production company called Roxy Media, which in 2022, reportedly garnered £4.5 million over a three-year period. The presenter also launched her own official lifestyle brand, Wylde Moon, which sells candles, diffusers and scents, amongst other things in 2021.

In the same year, PR expert Hayley Smith told Metro that the presenter's platform could "bank her a tidy '£6-12million' within a year". Before her departure from This Morning, the presenter reportedly earned £730,000 a year, which she fronted alongside presenter Phillip Schofield.

Murder plot

The television presenter went through a difficult year in 2023 in which she became a target of a plot to kidnap, rape and kill her. In July of that year, security guard Gavin Plumb was jailed for life with a minimum of 16 years at Chelmsford Crown Court for the plot. Plumb was snared after a US undercover police officer infiltrated an online group called Abduct Lovers and became so concerned about Plumb's posts that evidence was then passed over to the FBI.

As a result, US law enforcement contacted the police in the UK. When Essex Police officers raided Plumb's flat in Harlow, they found bottles of chloroform and an "abduction kit" complete with cable ties, reports the Mirror. Plumb wept after jurors unanimously convicted him of soliciting murder and inciting rape and kidnap follow an earlier trial at Chelmsford Crown Court. Following the ordeal, Willoughby took a step back from the spotlight for 12 months, including stepping away from This Morning's presenting role.

Celebrity friendships

In an interview with the Mirror, ahead of the Celebrity Bear Hunt's airing on Netflix, the presenter revealed how long-time friend, Bear Grylls, who also stars in the adventure programme, had played a pivotal role in helping her family overcome the shock of a failed abduction attempt. While talking about Bear, who is a survival expert, she said: "I just assumed that here was this man that had no fear. And actually he does have fear, but he doesn't let that fear hold him back. And I thought, God, that's brilliant. It really is something I want to try, and even if I can do it a tiny bit, then I think that will help. "

The broadcasting star reportedly rekindled her friendship with former co-star Fearne Cotton. The two starred in the ITV2 comedy panel show Celebrity Juice, which started in 2008, for over a decade, with Cotton leaving the show in 2018 and then Willoughby two years later in 2020. According to the Mirror, the two reportedly drifted apart after stopping filming Celebrity Juice together. But following Willoughby's recent ordeal, where she was a target of a murder plot, the pair reportedly reconnected as friends.

The two friends met when they were teens and appeared on the show as team captains, as reported by The Sun. But over time, they became less close as they took different paths and "failed to check in on each other", it has been claimed. However, both TV stars have now gone "down the same path" of living holistically and focusing on self-care, which means they have now reconnected, according to the newspaper.

A source reportedly told The Sun: "Fearne started living holistically, concentrating on self-care while Holly was still on TV. But then Holly went down the same path and started meditating and appreciating and researching holistic therapies. When she set up her wellness brand, Wylde Moon, she and Fearne were back on the same page again."

Scandal

In 2022, following the death of Queen Elizabeth, Holly Willoughby alongside her This Morning co-presenter Phillip Schofield at the time faced criticism over an alleged 'Queen queue jump'. Thousands of people had signed a petition calling for them to be sacked after reports that they went to see the Queen's coffin at Westminster Abbey without joining the thousands of people who had queued for hours to see the Queen lying in state, including fellow celebrities Susanna Reid and David Beckham.

In May 2023, Phillip Schofield left from his This Morning role and was dropped by his talent agency after admitting to an "unwise, but not illegal" affair with a young male colleague on the morning show. Willoughby also left the show in October of that year.
