Holly Willoughby won’t be returning to ITV’s This Morning this year after presenting I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The news was confirmed by her This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield after being questioned by a fan on Twitter.

Asked if she’d be presenting the morning show with Schofield again this year, he replied: ““Nope, she can’t get back in time, the first time we’re on telly together is Dancing on Ice in the New Year.”

Rochelle Humes will continue to co-host This Morning alongside Schofield until Willoughby eventually returns.

Willoughby, of course, took on the giant challenge of standing in for Ant McPartlin on I’m A Celebrity, proving to be a major hit with viewers.

It’s now thought that Willoughby is taking a break after finishing the ITV reality show alongside Declan Donnelly.

The presenter posted a picture of herself on Instagram with Donnelly and this year’s King of the Jungle Harry Redknapp, writing: “Yaaaaas! So wonderful to be able to crown the man that melted our hearts for the last 3 weeks!

“Congratulations King Harry… @imacelebrity it’s been the most wonderful adventure… it’s been a dream… thank you for having me… Jam roly poly’s all round!”

While Willoughby won’t appear on TV with Schofield until 2019’s Dancing On Ice, her co-host revealed that he WILL be reuniting with before Christmas, just not in a professional capacity.

Speaking to The Mirror, he said: “We are planning on going out for a drink when she gets back and has got over her jet lag. The plan is before Christmas when she comes back we go out for a drink. The first time we present together will actually be on Dancing On Ice.”
