This Morning host Holly Willoughby defended Meghan Markle on the ITV show when guest Vanessa Feltz criticised the Duchess of Sussex's outfit at a recent event.

HOLLY WILLOUGHBY: I mean, you sort of-- you see an awful lot of press about the fact that they're getting private jets here and there and everywhere. And they did just pop on the train to Manchester.

VANESSA FELTZ: Yes. Yes, and the [INAUDIBLE].

- It's quicker.

VANESSA FELTZ: As a 4,000--

- (CHUCKLING) It's quicker.

VANESSA FELTZ: 4,000 or 5,000-pound Valentino outfit, just to be just a humble girl from "Suits." I mean, she's not doing anything wrong.

PHILLIP SCHOFIELD: Oh.

VANESSA FELTZ: But there's something sort of--

PHILLIP SCHOFIELD: I just get the feeling--

VANESSA FELTZ: --grating about it.

PHILLIP SCHOFIELD: --that no matter what she does--

HOLLY WILLOUGHBY: I know. I don't like it.

PHILLIP SCHOFIELD: --she'll get criticized.

HOLLY WILLOUGHBY: I don't like it. I don't-- I-- you know--

VANESSA FELTZ: Well, but talk about yourself less and other people more. I think that's just a simple mantra. You can't go wrong with that one.

PHILLIP SCHOFIELD: Well, let's talk about somebody else.

HOLLY WILLOUGHBY: I wonder how much Harry's suit was?

PHILLIP SCHOFIELD: Good point.

HOLLY WILLOUGHBY: Do you know what I mean?

VANESSA FELTZ: Probably in Harry-- He's the Duke of Edinburgh.

HOLLY WILLOUGHBY: I'm sure he's not wearing something--

VANESSA FELTZ: It's probably been in the family for years.

HOLLY WILLOUGHBY: I'm sure he-- I bet it hasn't.

PHILLIP SCHOFIELD: I bet it hasn't [INAUDIBLE].

HOLLY WILLOUGHBY: And I bet it's not off the rack either. I mean, it might be, and who cares? But I'm just saying, I think it's unfair to talk about her outfit and not his.
