Holly Willoughby posted a romantic throwback selfie with her husband Dan Baldwin on the beach during a summer holiday to mark Valentine's Day.

The This Morning presenter shared the picture which featured Dan with his arm around her as they smiled for the camera, and added hearts to the photo which she captioned: "My 💘.".

Friends and fans were loving the sweet tribute, with TV star Dermot O'Leary commenting: "I hear good things about this guy."

Another follower added: "Beautiful picture. Happy Valentine's Day, Holly and Dan!"

The couple married on August 2007, and have three children together - Harry, 11, Belle, nine, and six-year-old Chester.

The star also marked Valentine's Day by wearing a gorgeous pink gown by bridal designer Iris Serban to host Dancing on Ice on Sunday evening.

Last week, Holly celebrated turning 40, and was overcome with emotion when she was surprised at work by co-host Phillip Schofield and their colleagues, who had bought her balloons and sang Stevie Wonder's Happy Birthday as she arrived at the ITV studio.

Phillip captured the moment on Instagram, telling his followers: "The birthday girl is about to arrive, everything is ready, she doesn't know about this…"

Holly began tearing up as she entered her dressing room where there was a giant 4-0 decorated with lights, bouquets of flowers and a bottle of champagne.

Meanwhile, both Holly and Phil are on a break from This Morning for half term, and will be replaced by Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes.

This Morning airs on ITV on weekday mornings.
