Holly Willoughby shared an update on her health with fans on Thursday morning (18 November 18), through her beloved cat Bluebell.

The 40-year-old TV presenter has been absent from This Morning since Tuesday (16 November) due to illness, and now she's posted a message on Instagram to reveal she won't be appearing on the show this morning, as she continues to recover from a stomach bug.

The star amused fans by sharing her message via a rather adorable emissary, her gorgeous Ragdoll cat, Bluebell.

'Good morning… My name is Bluebell. Sadly Holly won't be able to come out to play on @thismorning today as she is still under the weather,' the post reads. 'Seriously what I've witnessed over the last 48 hours you wouldn’t want her there… I'm sure she'll be back on Monday… Honestly I’m sick of the sight of her!'

Friends and fans inundated Holly with get well soon messages, with one commenting:
'Get well soon Holly, miss seeing you on This Morning, hope Bluebell gets over the trauma soon.'

Big Brother star Josie Gibson joined Holly's onscreen partner Phillip Schofield to take over presenting duties temporarily on Tuesday (November 16).

We imagine Holly and Phil will be back presenting together on the ITV show next week, as they don't typically star on the show on Fridays.

Holly has also shared a post about her recently launched jewellery collection collaboration with independent brand Kirstie Le Marque, which is available to buy on Holly's new lifestly website, Wylde Moon, now.

'One of the things I love about @kirstielemarque is that each of the vintage-inspired pieces feels like it's lived a life… they look and feel timeless. So, to create something with them, especially for @wyldemoon, has been a bit of a dream come true…'

Get well soon, Holly!
