Holly Willoughby shared which presenter would get her backing if she were to vote in the National Television Awards, for which she is also nominated (so we presume she can't actually vote herself!).

The ITV presenter shared a photo alongside colleague Alison Hammond of the pair laughing hysterically together.

In a caption with the snap Holly wrote, “this absolute babe of a human is nominated… @alisonhammond55 you get my vote! … #NTA”

Both Alison Hammond and Holly Willoughby are up for the Best Presenter award this year and This Morning, the show both women present for, is up for an award in the NTA’s Daytime category.

Holly also shared film-reel shots of herself alongside co-presenter Philip Schofield and thanked all the viewers who had voted for her at the National Television Awards, as well as those who had backed the show.

“Thank you for voting for myself and @thismorning to be shortlisted for an @officialntas,” wrote Holly. “The awards are on the 9th of September and if you would like to, there’s still time to vote… it means so much! Thank you #NTA”

The most nominated show this year is Line of Duty, which is up for four awards.

The show is competing for the best Returning Drama award while there are three additional honours for the lead actors in the best Drama Performance category.

Vicky McClure who plays Kate Fleming, Martin Compston who plays Steve Arnott and Adrian Dunbar who plays Ted Hastings in the series have all received nominations.
