Holly Willoughby looked fabulous on Wednesday (20 December), hosting This Morning in a retro style Ted Baker dress.

The preppy black and white number combines shirt dress features with a sweet skater skirt and perfectly balances a retro style with a modern look.

The double white line adds such a vintage flair, not only does it bring the dress to life, it also accentuates the waist, while the vertical stripes down the centre and sleeves lengthen your arms and add the illusion of height.

Clever and fashionable...

The star paired the long sleeve dress with tights, boots and a roll-neck underneath, to create a winter look and keep warm. The shirt collar with the roll-neck underneath is such seamless layering it almost looks like it's part of the dress.

It's how the brand styled the frock too. Though you can scroll down on the site and see it styled without the roll-neck, if you're looking ahead to spring. It looks even more polished and preppy when worn without.

It's such a smart yet fun look and we can totally picture it as part of Beth Harmon's covetable wardrobe in The Queens Gambit.

The Ted Baker SOFIYYA Shirt style skater dress is available in sizes 6-18 online.
