Holly Willoughby shared a Spring-drenched snap of her floral French Connection skirt on her Instagram account, ahead of presenting today’s This Morning (19 May).
Holly frequently wears stylish floral prints, as we see again on this dual-tone orange and pink skirt. However, the mid-length number features a striking asymmetric, almost diamond-shaped hem which adds a fresh twist to the otherwise classic Spring skirt.
The light and floaty fabric of the skirt is also pleated for added body and movement. The gorgeous hues in the skirt are described as “beeswax orange” and “wild rosa.” If that doesn’t say Spring/ Summer season, we don’t know what does.
The wardrobe staple is by French Connection and is currently in stock on the retailer’s website for £75 in sizes XS to L.
Holly lets the skirt do the talking by pairing it with a simple but sophisticated long-sleeved, round-neck top. The subtle pink compliments the hues of the rest of the outfit for a stylish and demure overall look.
The top is a little pricier, however it is made from cashmere and would be a truly versatile staple to mix and match with other items. The Pure Collection crew neck is available from John Lewis is a range of muted tones in sizes 8 to 20, for £115.
