You can get a holiday during the school break for £400 – here's how
Booking a holiday outside of school term time is a stressful ordeal – mostly because you're guaranteed to be paying almost double the price as you would if you could escape in June.
However, new research from TravelSupermarket shows that you can get away in July and August for far cheaper than last year in specific destinations.
The travel comparison site has looked at overseas’ beach holidays from the UK this summer, and found that package holiday prices have come down up to -28% year on year. To find the information, TravelSupermarket looked at all searches made on its site between 1 May to 11 June 2018/2019 for seven-night beach holidays departing between 11 June to 30 Sept 2018/2019 and based on the average 7-night price during that period.
Here are the top destinations for savings this summer:
Tunisia - up to 28% cheaper than this time last year.
Turkey - up to 18% cheaper
