Hoda Kotb reveals her daughters tested positive for Covid – details

Hoda Kotb has recently returned to work after recovering from COVID-19, and opened up about her experience with the virus on Today with Hoda & Jenna this week.

The doting mom revealed to her co-star Jenna Bush Hager that she wasn't the only member of her family to test positive, as her two young daughters have also had Covid.

She told Jenna: "My kids had had it so a doctor was saying to me, 'You have a two-year-old and a four-year-old, where are you going to isolate? You have to take care of your kids.'

"So we did say as they had just gotten over it that they would be okay, so we had some real family bonding time."

Hoda shares her two young daughters, Haley, four, and Hope, two, with her fiancé Joel Schiffman.

Luckily, the star told Jenna that she felt fine throughout her isolation, and that she had tested negative over the weekend and on the morning of her first day back at work.

Hoda Kotb revealed her daughters had Covid-19 too

Hoda isn't the only member of the Today family to have tested positive for Covid this month either.

Just as she returned to work, her co-anchor Savannah Guthrie caught the virus, and has been working from home this week while isolating.

While it's been an unexpected start to the year for Hoda, it's set to be an exciting one for the mom-of-two, as she's likely to get married to Joel at some point in the next 12 months.

Hoda is a doting mom to daughters Haley and Hope

The couple's wedding was delayed on several occasions in 2020 as a result of the pandemic, but they are determined to say 'I do' at some point soon.

Their original plan was a destination wedding, but this was put on hold due to the travel restrictions.

Most recently, Hoda revealed she would be happy with a wedding close to home, and hinted that a beach wedding near New York was an option.
