Phil Collins
Phil Collins has been living with chronic pain since the 2007 Genesis reunion tour which left left Phil with a dislocated vertebra in his neck that caused nerve damage in his hands. Phil has had to use a walking stick since having major surgery on his back in October 2015. Phil, 71, reunited with his Genesis bandmates - keyboardist Tony Banks and guitarist Mike Rutherford - for 'The Last Domino? Tour' this year and he said farewell to his fans, admitting that his ill-health meant he was retiring from live performances. Speaking at The O2 arena, Phil said: "It's the last stop of our tour, and it's the last show for Genesis. After tonight we all have to get real jobs." - 3/11

‘Back to the Future’ star Michael J. Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 1991, a nervous system disorder that causes movement difficulties. In an interview with NPR, Fox admitted that he initially believed his symptoms were a "sports injury". He said: "It was shocking when I was diagnosed. I thought I had a sports injury, and I saw a neurologist at the recommendation of my physical therapist. Liam Gallagher needs a double hip replacement after developing crippling arthritis in his joints due to his Hashimoto's disease diagnosis. However, the rock icon is reluctant to go under the knife because he doesn't want to die getting his hips fixed. He told Mojo magazine: "I’ve got arthritis, bad. I went to get it checked and my bones are mashed up. “The lady was going, ‘You might need a hip operation, a replacement’ – no way. "You’re all right... I think I’d rather just be in pain, which is ridiculous, obviously. I know that – just get them fixed. “But it’s also the stigma, saying you’ve had your hips replaced... What’s next? “I can’t sleep at night for the pain, tossing and turning. So I’m on the herbal sleeping tablets and they’ve saved my life."
