Hillary Clinton might just be the very first person to wear a pants suit to an Adele concert — or, well, any concert. On Tuesday night, Clinton was in the audience as everyone’s favorite British singer belted out her hits in Miami, Fla.
And what better way to celebrate a birthday? That’s right, the democratic presidential candidate’s birthday activity of choice was attending an Adele concert. And we don’t blame her.
Not only did Clinton get to hear Adele croon her famous tunes on her 69th b-day, Adele gifted her with a little something extra as she called the her up onstage and announced her support in her very presence. “Don’t vote for him,” the Grammy Award winner said, according to CNN reports. Of course, she can’t officially support the Democratic presidential candidate, but that can’t stop her from voicing her opinion. “I can’t vote but I am 100 percent for Hillary Clinton, I love her, she’s amazing…I am English, but what happens in America — affects me, too,” Adele told the crowd as they cheered her on.

While it’s surprising that the hardworking politician took a night off (she didn’t even take a sick day when had pneumonia), her outfit choice isn’t all that shocking. Clinton was wearing her go-to pants suit, this one was red on top and black on the bottom. Hey, it’s her day, if that’s the sort of birthday suit she wants to wear, so be it.
This isn’t the first time Adele has voiced her support of the woman who might become the nation’s first female president — and criticized the Republican nominee on her tour in the process.
Kellyanne Conway, Trump’s campaign manager, actually criticized those who praised Clinton for attending Adele’s concert but attack Trump for attending his hotel openings during the campaign. “Respectfully, Hillary Clinton has time to go to an Adele concert and everybody else thinks that’s really cool,” Conway said Wednesday on NBC’s Today. “Donald Trump stops off to unveil an incredible, stunning piece of architecture and new hotel, first-class hotel and everybody’s hair is on fire.”
