After several weeks in quarantine, the stressors of social distancing have caused many people to seek comfort in any way possible. Whether it’s by taking a walk, meditating or journalling, the COVID-19 pandemic has made it abundantly clear that self-care isn’t a luxury — it’s an essential part of our wellbeing.

Not even our favourite stars are immune to the strain of self-isolation. Like many moms, actress Hilary Duff said she was in need of some alone time after weeks of being home with her husband Matthew Koma and her two children.

The 33-year-old “Younger” star revealed to her more than 15 million followers that she managed to steal away for a bath to help her decompress. Duff shared a Boomerang of herself holding a drink to Instagram stories with the caption “This is me hiding from my kids yesterday… You feel me?”

Duff went on to list her go-to bath time products, including a hair mask from Ouai (pronounced “way” if you were wondering). The “Lizzie McGuire” star used the brand’s Treatment Masque to help repair her strands which she dyed a brilliant shade of blue that week.

“This mask literally made my hair feel like silk, gave it shine and body, and made it feel the most moisturized it has in years. Completely revitalized my hair,” one Sephora shopper wrote. “I’m on day two and it’s still soft and shiny as ever. I have less fly-away and no tangles.”

“I used this as a daily conditioner and I’m never looking back. This is an investment that was worth every penny. A little goes a long way,” another said.
