It's a one-off feature drama rather than a series, but Help looks set to be one of the stand-out TV moments of 2021.

Help stars Jodie Comer as a new carer and Stephen Graham as one of the patients she is looking after in a residential home when the pandemic strikes in spring 2020.

The story may be fictional, but it's a representation of so many of the situations that played out over the past two years, so expect raw emotion and difficult scenes.

If cosy drama is more your scene, switch over to Channel 5 for the second series of the rebooted All Creatures Great and Small.

James and Helen are feeling a little awkward about her called off wedding last series and the lack of progression between them since.
