Dame Helen Mirren has scooped the virtual award for the celebrity who has aged best. The 73-year-old, who models for L’Oréal, is known for her enviable physique and youthful skin – traits that no doubt helped the British star top the list, devised by wellness brand FOREO.
Mirren’s age-defying glow isn’t totally natural, though. She admitted last year that she scored her dream pair of eyebrows by getting them tattooed on. So, even without a scrap of makeup on, she ‘has eyebrows’.
“I was fed up of my brows barely being there and when one of my girlfriends got it done, I thought that they looked great,” she told the Mail Online.
“They’re very lightly and delicately done — but it means that when I get up in the morning and I have no make-up on, at least I have eyebrows. It’s made a huge difference.”
While we know very little about Her Majesty’s skincare regime, we hazard a guess she’s surrounded by staff who help relieve the royal’s stress – which we all know impacts our skin and overall appearance.
Pop royalty came in third place thanks to 60-year-old Madonna with fellow singers 73-year-old Dolly Parton, 72-year-old Cher and 79-year-old Tina Turner also making the top 10 list.
