Dame Helen Mirren DBE is the recipient of numerous accolades for her acting, but after wearing this incredible gown last night in Syracuse, we’re adding best dressed to that list.

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the brand's Alta Moda launch, Dolce & Gabbana hosted an extravagant evening at the Piazza Duomo in Syracuse, Sicily. Helen dazzled as the sun went down, in a metallic rainbow striped gown, courtesy of the brand. The train spilled out onto the floor, and the puff sleeves added additional glam to the gown.

Posing next to her husband Taylor Hackford, before including carousel pictures of herself in front of the grand building, and with her dress’ train flowing down the steps, Helen captioned her post: “An unforgettable evening in Syracuse, Sicily for the new @dolcegabbana Alta Moda collection. A truly magical event.”

Helen paired her dress with dangly earrings and her signature white locks slicked back, giving the dress an 80s feel.

Following her evening at the Piazza Duomo in Syracuse, Helen and her husband Taylor enjoyed another evening with the brand at the Alta Sartoria Show.

Looking beautiful, Helen smiles in a figure hugging, draped canary yellow gown. Across the middle of the body, the dress details an embellished face complete with a crown. To compliment the design, Helen wore a dazzling gold crown herself, a sparkly gold clutch, and a glossy lip.

Dame Helen Mirren is always one of the best dressed at any event, but after wearing these Dolce & Gabanna showstoppers over the last few days, we doubt she has little competition for the title at all.
