Helen George has revealed her second baby's name

Call The Midwife stars Helen George and Jack Ashton recently announced the birth of their second child, and now they've shared the little one's name.

The Trixie Franklin actress made the birth announcement two weeks ago via her Instagram page, sharing a photo of her other half, Call the Midwife's Reverend Tom Hereward actor Jack Ashton, cradling their newborn.

"Happiest of birthdays my love," she wrote. "What a week. And forevermore you will share your birthday week with your second born, sorry I couldn't cross my legs any longer."

And now, two weeks later, the former Strictly star has revealed the little one's name – and it coordinates perfectly with big sister Wren's.

Helen shared a photo with the little one writing; "Our second little bird. This is Lark. 💕💕 We should probably stop there so we don’t end up with a Goose."

The actress revealed back in July that her baby was due in December, so arrived a little sooner than planned. Her first child, Wren Ivy, was born early via a C-section.

"I had to deliver her early, but even without that, I would have gone for an elective caesarean because of what I'd learnt on Call the Midwife," Helen previously said. "Working on Call the Midwife means that lots of people tell you their horror stories about birth.

"I'm not against natural birth, I'm pro whatever you feel is right for you. Some people may not understand why I elected to have a C-section, but it was right for me at the time. It's not because I'm 'too posh to push', it's about what I think my body is capable of."
