Heidi Klum's daughter Leni follows in her footsteps with Glamour Germany cover

Heidi Klum's daughter Leni has followed in her footsteps and landed her first-ever solo cover with Glamour Germany.

The 16-year-old model rocked a floral print dress with statement sleeves for the cover, which comes 20 years after her famous mother became the publication's first-ever model, and Leni took to Instagram to share a sweet tribute to Heidi.

"20th Anniversary cover by @kristianschuller. Thank you to everyone who made my first solo cover so special. It's an honor to share this with my mama @heidiklum who was Glamour Germany's first ever cover model," she wrote.

Leni also shared a snap of Heidi's original Glamour Germany cover, and shared it alongside her own, with the caption: "2001 – 2021."

The 47-year-old model also posted her daughter's cover on Instagram, and wrote: "Couldn't be more proud of you @leniklum."

Leni shared a clip going behind-the-scenes of the Glamour shoot on social media, which showed Heidi visiting her dressing room while she was getting her make-up done.

During the video, the teenager was asked when she's most embarrassed by her famous mother, and Leni confessed it's when Heidi drops her off at school.

"It's sort of a line to get in and all the kids are all sort of there. So I open the door and she makes sure to turn the volume up all the way and starts singing and blasting and rolling down the window and I'm so embarrassed to get out of the car," she laughed.

The 16-year-old made her modelling debut in December with a Vogue Germany cover alongside her mother, and went on to open Berlin Fashion Week earlier this year.
