German supermodel Heidi Klum is joining forces with major German retailer Lidl for the very first time.

The affordable brand today announced a fashion collaboration with the TV personality.

The 44-year-old model has designed a fashion line that will offer customers high-quality clothes at a fraction of the price designers would usually charge.

Heidi, who currently appears on America’s Got Talent and Germany’s Next Top Model, said she was “proud to partner with [Lidl]. I had so much fun designing the pieces in this collection and can’t wait for you to see it.”

As one of the highest paid models in the world, Heidi is in a prime position to offer her sartorial know-how to the public. The collection will be released later this year and is set to “mirror her characteristic style.”

Whether that could be a reflection of her increasingly wacky Halloween costumes, only time will tell.

Lidl UK’s commercial director, Ryan McDonnell, sang the model’s praises: “As both a global fashion icon and grounded individual, Heidi is an incredible source of inspiration, which we think will really resonate with our customers.”

“We are extremely excited about offering our most premium fashion range to date.”
