Heidi Klum kicked off the weekend by getting back to her swimsuit model roots. The German-American star posted an Instagram carousel on Nov. 10 that embraced a summery aesthetic in the middle of autumn.
Klum opted for a string black bikini, which she paired with a few unexpected accessories: a fuzzy green bucket hat, a rainbow knit sweater and baby blue heart-shaped sunglasses. The 50-year-old mom of four showed off her flawless profile in the first snap, then provided a video clip of herself frolicking through the grass as she held a red flower to her nose. Klum grinned for the camera in another snap, and in the final slide, provided a glimpse at her look in its entirety.
“Ready for the weekend ?☀️❤️🥰🌸,” she inquired of her 11.7 million followers in her caption.
This isn’t the first time the America’s Got Talent judge has paired her swimwear with winter accessories, either. In April, she soaked up the sunshine in an itty-bitty yellow bikini, which she paired with a neutral fuzzy bucket hat. While we’ve never really thought about accessorizing our swimwear by pulling from our winter wardrobes, we might just start, thanks to Klum’s influence.
The legendary supermodel first posed for the SI Swimsuit Issue in 1998, when she landed the cover after her photoshoot in the Maldives. She returned to the fold for features in nine different magazines throughout her years with the publication, most recently in the 50th anniversary issue in 2014.
