Harry Styles has collaborated with his friend Alessandro Michele on a collection for Gucci.

The As It Was singer has been friends with the Italian fashion brand's creative director for years, has appeared in various Gucci campaigns and extensively wears Gucci designs for public appearances.

He has now taken his relationship with the brand to the next level by creating a 25-look collection titled HA HA HA, a nod to Harry and Alessandro's initials and a phrase they often use in messages.

"Harry has an incredible sense of fashion," the designer said in a statement, reports Vogue. "The idea of working together came to me one day while we were talking on the phone: I proposed creating a 'dream wardrobe' with him... We ended up with a mix of aesthetics, from 1970s pop and bohemia to the revision of the image of the gentleman in an overturned memory of men's tailoring."

The collection heavily features traditional English tailoring and '70s-inspired outfits. They have created double-breasted coats, vibrant velvet suits, printed pyjamas, flared trousers, striped tank tops, newsboy caps, a patchwork leather jacket, and white boots with a red heart motif.

According to GQ, Alessandro said during a press conference in Milan, Italy on Monday that their collaboration grew out of years of conversations and "started to be something really concrete maybe one year ago".

He also left the door open for more HA HA HA designs, saying of the collaboration, "It's easy to do it, but it's also serious. It's something that he really, really loves in a serious way. You know, like me."

The full collection will be available in October.
