Despite being born with a collapsed lung, Pink prevailed in music by learning to sing from her abdomen. Pink was hospitalised in 2020 after contracting COVID-19 which left her breathless. She said: "It was terrifying at one point. I've had really, really bad asthma to the point where sometimes I end up in the hospital. I woke up in the middle of the night and I couldn't breathe. But little do fans know that the U2 singer alongside his son are affected by asthma. In fact Bono’s son Elijah Hewson - who is the lead singer of band Inhaler – named the band after his sister made a joke about his asthma.
