From Town & Country

Good news for luxury urban spa aficionados – the Knightsbridge department store Harrods has just unveiled an underground suite of treatment-rooms, including UK-exclusive partnerships with Chanel and Dior. The launch marks the final chapter in Harrods’ three-part, year-long refurbishment.

Like the ground-floor Beauty Halls, the new space has been designed by the GA group, the interior experts behind some of the world’s most luxurious hotels, including the Belmond Cadogan hotel in Chelsea. All the treatment spaces are individually decorated in chic palettes of gold, black and blush pink, according to their brand.

You can now book exclusive facials by La Mer, Natura Bissé and Clarins, and you’ll find other luxurious brands such as La Prairie and Clé de Peau Beauté there too.

Do keep an eye out for the very first dedicated Dior and Chanel spa treatment-rooms, set to open later this month, offering signature facials designed to revitalise and replenish the skin. The 75-minute Chanel treatment involves a special microcirculation technique that stimulates the skin to give it a look of natural radiance. Similarly, Dior’s 90-minute facial uses a sculpting massage to target contours, lips or eyes, naturally relieving tension to give the skin a more plump and supple appearance.

In addition to the spa, Harrods has also launched a brilliant beauty concierge service where guests can book consultations and appointments and find assistance in navigating the vast beauty offering across the Beauty Halls. There is also a 30-seat auditorium reserved for product launches, expert talks and interactive masterclasses tailored to help up your beauty game. None other than Kate Moss, Decorté’s brand ambassador, kicked off the first session with a revealing insight to her skincare regime.
