It’s Hannah Teter’s favorite time of year: when the snow starts falling and ski resorts and mountains are open for business. The professional snowboarder, who traded her puffy and insulated regular winter ensemble for a series of bikinis when she was photographed by Warwick Saint in Whistler, Canada for the 2010 SI Swimsuit Issue, brought out her winter gear and accessories and hit the slopes as soon as she could.
The 36-year-old, who is a two-time Olympic medalist, donned a leopard print jacket and pants set, paired with a black crop top, pom pom fuzzy beanie, goggles, and of course, her blue-and-white snowboard in a recent Instagram post. Teter, who lives in Lake Tahoe, Calif., posed in the midst of heavy snowfall and a pristine white mountain with gorgeous, tall pine trees behind her.
“Resorts are opening up, and I’m strapping in for some epic snowboarding adventures! 🏂❄️ Who’s ready to ride?! #california #wintersback #letsgo #snow,” the Vermont native, who is the youngest of five siblings, captioned the pic she shared with her 296,000 followers.
“Say when and I’ll be there with 📸,” photographer Tim Arthur commented.
“🙋♀️,” professional surfer and fellow SI Swimsuit model Courtney Conlogue, who traveled to Turks and Caicos to pose for the 2020 issue with James Macari, wrote.
“That outfit is dope,” one fan complimented
“I would love to be there for the snowy adventure ❄️❄️❄️,” another chimed.
Teter also loves water activities and spends her summers on the lake, surfing, hiking and undertaking all sorts of coast-to-coast adventures.
