While we're no strangers to coming across unusual, but actually very cool, kitchen gadgets. Case in point: the three-in-one avocado slicer and 'angry mum' shaped microwave cleaner.
We have to say one of our latest finds may just be the most head-turning to date.
If you like fashion and yummy toasted sandwiches (and let's face it, who doesn't?), there's a kitchen appliance for you: A handbag sandwich toaster.
Created by well known kitchen appliance brand, Salter, the toastie maker can do everything the usual kitchen gadget can do. It pre–heats in just three minutes and can create two toasties at once on easy to clean non–stick interior plates.
However, instead of being a big black eyesore on your kitchen countertop, the toastie maker comes with the added touch of modern romance, as it's fashioned into a stylish black quilted handbag, complete with a carry handle and rose gold accents.
Having recently been uncovered online it has caused quite a stir, Twitter becoming alight with memes calling it a "spring/summer 2022 must-have" and even food delivery service, Deliveroo, tweeted "hey babe, you've barely touched your handbag sandwich maker..."

The chic cooking gadget is part of Salter's limited-edition Rose Gold collection, which added rose gold accents to everything from kettles and toasters to slow cookers.
The handbag sandwich toaster is available from numerous retailers including Amazon, where it's currently reduced to only £21, Robert Dyas where it's £24.99 and Very where it retailers for £26.99.
The shopping sites also have a slew of five-star reviews from happy customers.
"It does beautiful toasties, looks good - and takes up very little space and although does same job as old one, is much lighter" says one five-star review. While others add that it looks "elegant", "stylish" and "cute".
So, if you love handbags and cheesy toasties, this slim gadget may just be what your kitchen counter is missing.
