New Hampshire Legislators Bundle Up for Outside Session Amid Coronavirus Concerns

New Hampshire legislators met outside in chilly weather amid coronavirus concerns on Wednesday, December 2, local media reported.

Leadership in the New Hampshire House and Senate opted to host Organization Day — the new legislature’s first official meeting — outside as coronavirus cases rose in the state. The decision to move outdoors came after “threats” that some legislators wouldn’t come to an indoor meeting, local media reported.

New Hampshire health officials recently announced that multiple coronavirus cases stemmed from a November 20 gathering of Republican members of the incoming House of Representatives, local media reported.
