Singer Halsey has announced the birth of their baby, a son, with a sweet Instagram post.

Back in January, Halsey revealed they were pregnant with a gorgeous maternity photoshoot. "Surprise! 🍼🌈👼🏻," they wrote alongside the pictures taken by celebrity photographer Sam Dameshek, tagging boyfriend Alev Aydin.

Now, six months later, the 26-year-old has given birth. Sharing a black and white photo from her hospital bed, Halsey wrote, "Gratitude. For the most “rare” and euphoric birth. Powered by love. Ender Ridley Aydin. 7/14/2021"

Halsey, whose real name is Ashley Frangipane, and screenwriter/producer boyfriend Alev have been dating since 2020. According to reports, the couple first sparked romance rumours in October when they were spotted buying art supplies together in LA, and it's thought they plan to move into Liam Payne's former LA home together after Halsey recently splashed out $10million on the property.

In February 2020, Halsey opened up to The Guardian about suffering a miscarriage while on tour. “It’s the most inadequate I’ve ever felt," they said. "Here I am achieving this out-of-control life, and I can’t do the one thing I’m biologically put on this earth to do. Then I have to go onstage and be this sex symbol of femininity and empowerment? It is demoralising.”

Congratulations to the little family, we can't wait to see more of Ender Ridley.
