The Hunger Games: Catching Fire actress turned heads as she debuted a new hairstyle which our expert shows you how to re-create at home.
Jennifer's new hair is a much more grown up and sophisticated look compared to the dark brown locks she sported while filming the sequel recently - perhaps she's all grown up now she's won her Oscar.
While her shoulder-length cut flatters her heart-shaped face, those with round-faces should perhaps opt for a longer style but maintaining Jennifer's loose curls.
"Jennifer’s style can be easily achieved for both short and long hair styles, and is a simple, beautiful look for spring,” said Nikki Purcell at Paul's Hair World.
Nikki told us the Silver Lining’s Playbook star’s tousled hairstyle is perfect for taking you from day to night, as the style looks better as the curls gradually fall out.
“Simply carry hairspray in your bag, re-spray and run your fingers through the curls to freshen up your look after a long day,” she advised.
To get Jennifer’s loose, wavy mid-length bob at home, simply follow our easy step-by-step guide below.
1) To start, Nikki suggests rough-drying your hair, adding volumising mousse to add texture and thickness to your locks. We recommend Sexy Hair Big Root Pump Volumizing Spray Mousse, £9.60.
2) When your hair’s dry, use large-barreled curling irons to loosely style the hair.
“Don’t worry about being perfect - Jennifer’s curls are loose and tousled, so perfect curls are not necessary,” said Nikki.
Using a wide-barrelled tong will save you time and give you loose, effortless curls like the star. We recommend Babyliss Jumbo Ceramic Hair Curling Tongs, £32.99.
“Don’t forget to curl the hair around your face outwards, copying Jennifer’s ‘70s inspired look,” advised Nikki.
3) To finish, just turn your head upside down and spray with extra-hold hairspray, running your fingers through your hair ‘to re-create Jennifer’s relaxed look!'
