Being natural always feels beautiful to me. When I've got natural make-up and fresh skin, but, more importantly, when I feel like I can be myself around the people that I love and who make me feel like myself. That's when I truly feel the most beautiful.

I've always been comfortable being myself so when the internet started comparing me to other people it was really difficult. I enjoy being me, but the comments made me feel like that wasn’t enough. As women we can feel insecure for a lot of different reasons, every human has insecurities about one thing or another. For a long time I compared myself to other people, especially in the modelling industry. Then, when I got married, it got even worse. People were constantly comparing me to other women.

My biggest hurdle has been overcoming people on the internet perpetuating it all. When there's thousands of people pushing a false narrative about you, it's hard to turn off that noise. I had to go through that journey and get on the other side of it. I made a decision to turn things off, stop looking, stop reading and step away from it. I've grown into myself and now I'm more confident than I've ever been before.

I’m about to turn 24, so I've started thinking about ageing. I'm trying to be way more on top of wearing sunscreen everyday and using products with ingredients that are anti-ageing, but are also really gentle and really subtle. I’ve always had a lot of respect for women who have aged really gracefully. I look to someone like Christy Turlington - she’s let herself get older and she's stunning. I look at women like my mum who is 54 and doesn’t have an ounce of botox in her face and looks incredible. I'm crossing my fingers that those genetics stay in place when I'm her age, but whatever works for you is what works for you. If botox is your thing then go for it.

When I went on birth control for the first time a few years ago, my skin totally changed. I'd never had any kind of acne before, whereas now I'll get hormonal break outs from that. After Justin went on Accutane for his acne I helped him repair his skin. Weirdly when he was a teenager, which is when you'd think he might get acne, his skin was perfect and then suddenly it came out when he was an adult, so it's something he'd never had to deal with before. I did a load of research about skincare for acne-prone skin for both of us.

It's funny because we have really similar skin types so a lot of the products that worked for me ended up working for him as well. The Accutane was super drying so I shared some of my own skincare products with him to help get all the moisture back into his skin and they worked really well. It's about learning what works for your skin as it changes.

The beauty advice I'd give my future children is hydration, hydration and more hydration! And sun protection! My mum is Brazilian and they’re crazy about lathering their skin in oils and lotions and things. When I was a child I'd get out of the shower or the bath and she would douse my entire body in moisturisers. It's become such a key part of taking care of my skin and my mum taking care of her skin so I'll definitely be on my kids about keeping their skin hydrated.'
