H&M and The White Lotus new collection is peak main character energy
Have you ever wanted to feel a little more free, a little more daring? Well, there’s no better opportunity than when on a sun-soaked holiday, and H&M has teamed up with The White Lotus to create a new resort collection infused with main character energy. Available to shop from Thursday, 20 February, the anticipated capsule comes just in time for the season 3 premiere on Monday, 17 February.
Designed in collaboration with costume designer Alex Bovaird, the 25-piece holiday edit reflects the decadent wardrobes of the show’s main characters – including Sex Education’s Aimee Lou Wood as Chelsea, and Blackpink’s Lalisa 'Lisa' Manobal as Mook. In addition to the cast’s elevated, bohemian style, the collection takes inspiration from the exclusive Thailand resort where the new season of The White Lotus is based.

“This season, the characters present a version of who they want to be. It’s a little freer and more fun, more elaborate,” Boviard said in a statement. “This time, we had the heat of Southeast Asia and quite a specific spa location, which also influenced the wardrobe.”
“There’s sometimes a need to be covered up with long-sleeved shirts or flowing with kaftans, and there’s a need for hats. The story has a sprinkling of darkness, mystery, and danger, too, and so it’s fun to add that to the clothing, but subtly – for instance, a sophisticated black dress or moody outfits.”

Expect vibrant colours with pops of citrus hues, and lush, jungle-inspired prints of lotus flowers and elephants, paired with gold accents and dramatic silhouettes that instantly transport you to a luxurious, tropical destination. We particularly love the diaphanous, billowing fabrics and ruffle details, which align with this year’s boho trend seen on the Chloé and Blumarine spring/summer 2025 runways.
The voluminous kaftans are elegant, dynamic, but also effortless and comfortable. Cut from burgundy and printed-orange sheer fabric, these key pieces are finished with romantic, ruffle necklines, sleeves and hems, which capture the playful grandeur of the new season. Alongside dreamy maxi dresses destined for floating around poolside, there are body-skimming, cut-out midi dresses, leg-baring minis, flouncy blouses, open-work crochet, matching sets, sarongs, swimwear and accessories, too.

“We're selling a dream of that perfect holiday moment,” H&M creative advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson said. “It doesn't matter where you go, but you know how you want it to be. That kind of dreaminess is always a big part of fashion. It’s very aspirational. It’s also glamorous; there’s a lot of volume and beautiful prints, and it’s very colourful — it captures that holiday feeling when people might be slightly more daring [...] The collection works for the beach, but you can easily style it for the evening if you want to. It’s the perfect summer holiday wardrobe.”
Our picks? The pink ruffle mini dress that’s ideal for daytime, styled with white sandals and a basket bag. The black midi dress is also gorg for a dinner date, paired with strappy sandals and a minimal shoulder bag. And the crochet sets are a must for holiday dressing – we’d wear them with oversized sunglasses, statement sandals, and a sunhat.
Priced from £19 to £119, H&M’s collection inspired by the HBO original series The White Lotus is available to shop from Thursday, 20th February 2025.
