H&M is no stranger to designer collaborations – and the high-street brand's latest joint capsule comes in the form of beachwear. The Scandinavian label has teamed up with supermodel Liya Kebede's brand Lemlem on a collection of caftans, swimwear, jewellery and accessories, all of which are perfect for a summer spent on the beach.

The easy breezy pieces are inspired by a chic yet effortless aesthetic and feature many of the traditional handwoven materials that are typical of Lemlem's collections.

"I love that H&M has always been at the forefront of doing really cool collaborations," Kebede said of the move. "So for Lemlem, it’s really exciting to be part of that group of brands that they’ve collaborated with."

"It’s also the first time we have a whole Lemlem look, with the jewellery really adding to the feeling and the woman that I want it to look like. My creative direction included the campaign too, which was so much fun and special because I got to shoot with my daughter."

The collection features everything from dip-dyed and colour-block caftans and strappy dresses to striped co-ords, oversized shirts, relaxed jewellery and fun swimwear, much of which is made for long days spent at the beach, but could certainly be reworked for a summer in the city.

H&M's collection created in collaboration with Lemlem launches online and in stores today. To shop it, and to find out more information, head this way.
