H&M is behind so many expensive-looking pieces in our wardrobes, including a summer dress that we wear year-in-year-out.
The trick to securing the very best H&M pieces (you know those ones that become Instagram hits that instantly sell out) is to keep a close eye on their 'premium selection'.
That's where you'll find timeless classic and trend-led pieces in high-end fabrics that stand the test of time. Oh, and making sure you have their shoe selection bookmarked because it's one of the best on the high street. In fact, Red's Fashion Director Oonagh Brennan has been raving about a pair of designer-esque ballet pumps she picked up at H&M for just £17.99.
Now there's another pair of shoes on our shopping list from H&M's premium range: their leather mules, £39.99.
Available in black and light beige, these shoes are exactly what you need to instantly elevate a simple outfit, like jeans and a top or a knit and a midi skirt, now we're catching up with friends, or heading to the office, again.
These mules are made from super-soft leather with a square toe and a slight heel for added height. Satin linings and leather in-soles provide much needed extra comfort if, like us, you've been living in nothing but trainers for a while. That means you can wear them all day.
Shoppers who already own the mules have plenty of praise for the shoes, awarding lots of five star reviews.
'Lovely quality can't wait for better weather to wear them,' wrote one, while another added: 'Simple and elegant in soft leather, these are super comfortable. Easy to throw on for spring/summer events. Perfect heel height if you want to dress up a bit, but want to be comfortable all day/night. Amazing value, look much more expensive.'
Their only grumble is that the mules are quite narrow for wider feet, so several recommend ordering a size up for the perfect fit.
While you're there, fashion editors also have their eye on a few other premium H&M pieces:
