Keeley Hawes and David Tennant are back on our screens
The last few years have undoubtedly seen a huge increase in homegrown British television dramas. From Killing Eve to Bodyguard, the BBC may appear to be reign supreme, but their direct competitor, ITV, are certainly no strangers to producing compelling dramas themselves.
The hugely successful series' Broadchurch and Liar were commissioned by the broadcaster, and if the line-up for the remainder of 2020 is anything to go by, there's going to be a lot more reasons to stay on our sofas this autumn.
From David Tennant's chilling portrayal of serial killer Dennis Nilsen in new true crime drama Des, to Years and Years star Russell Tovey's returning to screens in mystery drama The Sister.
Queen of British drama Keeley Hawes is also back, and she's on a mission to discover the truth behind the 2006 'honour killing' of 20-year-old Banaz Mahmod, as DCI Caroline Goode in two-part drama, Honour.
With all these incredible dramas to look forward to this year, we don't really mind the fact it's getting colder outside...
