Greggs’ vegan range is getting bigger and better. The OG Greggs vegan sausage roll was a triumph, quite frankly. The Greggs vegan steak bake followed soon after, then the Greggs vegan sausage, bean and cheese melt appeared on the menu and changed everything.

But there’s always been something missing from Greggs’ vegan range, and that’s the festive bake.

You must know where this is going, surely…

That’s right – Greggs has just announced that not only is the Greggs festive bake returning to the menu in just a matter of weeks for Christmas, but this time there’s a vegan version too!

From 4 November, fans of a plant-based diet will be able to get stuck into this Christmas treat. For the vegan version of the bake, the turkey filling has been switched with Quorn mycoprotein pieces, along with sage and onion stuffing and a vegan bacon crumb.

The whole thing is then finished with a sage and cranberry sauce and all encased in a vegan-friendly puff pastry.

Hannah Squirrell, Customer Director at Greggs, said: “The Festive Bake is the latest iconic Greggs Bake to receive a vegan-friendly makeover, and it retains all the classic Christmassy flavours of the original.

“There’s nothing better over the festive season than tucking into delicious Christmas food, and we’re confident that customers will love our latest tasty Bakes.”
