Step inside the minds of Tim Walker, Grayson Perry and many other high-profile creatives as part of an online series of free talks to help people feel inspired during this period of self-isolation.
Throughout March and April, the Sarabande Foundation - originally set up by Lee McQueen - will open its collection of talks online for a new audience. Each of the talks were initially hosted by the organisation over the past three years at its Haggerston HQ.
Highlights include award-winning costume designer in conversation with Eddie Redmayne today, Friday 27 March, a talk by Grayson Perry on 2 April and also Tim Walker in conversation with Molly Goddard on 9 April. Other creatives to appear in the series including Maggi Hambling OBE, Jake Chapman and Thom Browne. Each talent will talk openly about how they have established themselves as working artists despite many obstacles or have kept their businesses afloat during difficult times.
Sarabande Sessions will also offer more practical help and advice, as well as inspiring talks. Find out how to get your films made with Olivier Kaempfer, Amy Jackson and Fiona Lamptey, and then how to market it with Bunny Kinney, Saam Farahmand and Dr. Rebekah Louisa Smith.
Although the talks are free, the foundation welcomes any charity donations. All sessions are available to watch on its website, where the full listings are also available.
