Grace Kelly's granddaughter Charlotte Casiraghi gets married in Monaco
Congratulations are in order for Grace Kelly's granddaughter, Charlotte Casiraghi, and Dimitri Rassam, who were married in a civil ceremony on Saturday (1 June).
The couple, who are parents to six-month-old son Balthazar, exchanged vows at the Palace Throne Room in Monaco.
The bride wore a short lace dress embellished with crystal-embroidered bows and satin sandals, all designed by Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent, as confirmed by the French fashion house.
Later that evening, the bride changed into an elegant strapless Chanel couture gown, paired with a glittering diamond necklace. Her French film producer husband opted for a white tuxedo jacket and bow-tie.

The civil ceremony marriage was attended by family and friends, including the bride’s uncle, Prince Albert II, his wife Princess Charlene, and their children, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, plus Princess Caroline and the groom’s mother.
Following the service, the family hosted a traditional Monégasque-style picnic in the terraced gardens overlooking the Mediterranean sea. Guests then headed to the five-star Monte Carlo Beach Hotel for an evening dinner and dancing to the tune of 1970s-inspired band Alessandro Ristori and the Portofinos.
Rassam, a film producer, is the son of French actress Carole Bouquet and producer Jean-Pierre Rassam. The couple share a seven-month-old son, Balthazar, and Casiraghi has another child, 5-year-old Raphaël, from a previous relationship with French humorist Gad Elmaleh. This is Charlotte’s first marriage and Rassam’s second.
The couple became engaged during a family ski trip in March 2018. Days later, Charlotte showcased her pink diamond solitaire at the annual Bal de la Rose. In October, she gave birth to their son.
Considering that Casiraghi, who is 11th in line to Monaco's throne, starred in Saint Laurent’s autumn/winter 2018 campaign, it's little wonder that she chose to wear the brand for her nuptials. And, as the daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco and granddaughter of Hollywood film star Grace Kelly, she has become a fashion icon in her own right.
