Smart clothing is already here in various forms from fit bit watches and high tech tattoos to swimwear that will tell you when it's time to get out of the sun - but never have we been more excited for a wearable collaboration than we are right now.

Google is teaming up with Levi's to make the denim jacket of your dreams that not only looks as fancy as you'd expect but can be used to answer your phone.

According to Hello Giggles, the denim jacket is being made as part of Levi's 'commuter' collection for cyclists and will turn their iconic trucker jacket into an interactive piece of wearable tech.

At first glance, the jacket just looks like another one of Levi's dreamy denim designs but it's the material in the left sleeve of this number that really sets it apart.

Made with Google's 'jacquard' technology, cyclists will be able to answer the phone, send texts, play songs and get directions from just moving their left arm.

Levi's explain on its website: "With this innovation, our Levi’s® Commuter™Trucker Jacket becomes even more dynamic – now with digital functionality built in. A tag wirelessly connects the conductive yarns in the jacket’s cuff to your mobile device. Remove the tag, and the entire garment is washable and durable – just like regular denim."

The jacket will be sold from September this year costing around $350 - here's hoping they will ship to the UK.
