Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan has received another 312 Ofcom complaints in only four days.

According to The Sun, Good Morning Britain was the subject of the majority of those, 221 complaints, last Tuesday (June 23) when Piers and co-host Susanna Reid clashed over comments made by care minister Helen Whately.

While Susanna tried to read out a Government-issued statement, Piers stuck his fingers in his ears and refused to listen.

With the Government currently said to be boycotting the ITV morning show, Piers said: "If they're boycotting us, I'm going to boycott their stupid little statements."

During the same show, Piers also clashed with guest Dizzee Rascal.

The rapper had been appearing on the show to speak about a new series of drive-in concerts during the ongoing pandemic.

When asked to articulate what Black Lives Matter means, Dizzee asked: "What makes you think I know?"

"I don't know, because you're a Black man," Piers said, the rapper replying: "But am I the Black spokesperson?"

When Piers continued to press him on the matter Dizzee replied: "You know what, I watch you on telly and you never let no-one speak. I'm not the one, you're not going to do this to me mate. Let's keep it calm. I'm just saying I've got a bunch of views, but right now is not the time.

"I can personally take any opportunity I want when I want because of social media but right now, it's really early and it's just going to cause a bunch of whatever unnecessarily. You can't force me."

When Piers claimed it was an "aggressive answer to a simple question", Dizzee replied: "This is what happens, I become the aggressive Black man. I told you!

"I just wanted to be nice, and look how he's behaving! You know who you need on here – Akala. We're not going to fall out, but that's the spokesman for something sensible."

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am.
