Halle Berry donned a thigh-high split dress at the Golden Globes tonight similar to what Angelina Jolie famously wore at the Oscars in 2011.

The New Year’s Eve actress, 46, showed off her legs in a printed Atelier Versace AW12 gown at the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards.

Halle Berry’s dress featured one-shoulder detail and printed pink pattern, which she teamed with nude patent court shoes and hooped earrings.

Dresses with thigh-high splits have long been a dramatic way to make an entrance on the red carpet, especially since Angelina Jolie donned her thigh-high split gown at the 2011 Oscars.

It comes as no surprise than Heidi Klum and Lea Michele also donned dresses with thigh-high splits on the Golden Globes red carpet.

Supermodel Heidi Klum, 39, showed off her toned body in an ice white one-shouldered gown with embellished detail across the bust.

Glee star Lea Michele, 26, opted for a nude sparkling Elie Saab gown for the Golden Globes red carpet which featured a thigh-high split and ruched waisted detail.

Former Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria, 37, chose a black lace Emilio Pucci gown for the Golden Globes red carpet which featured a cut out across the bust and thigh-high split.

British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, 25, also opted for a black gown with thigh-high split, though hers featured a wide waist belt. Rosie teamed her dress with black ankle-strap heels.

Aside from dresses with thigh-high splits, Jennifer Lawrence led the red trend in a stunning Dior Haute Couture gown while Zero Dark Thirty actress Jessica Chastain was on-trend in pastel Calvin Klein.
