These New GOLD Smarties Buttons Are Calling To Us
Gold chocolate is our new favourite thing.
We've already seen the launch of Milkybar Gold (as well as a gold version of Milkybar Buttons) Caramilk, and the classic Caramac bar enjoying a new lease of life, and now Smarties are getting in on the act too.
Smarties Buttons are turning GOLD with their latest product release, and they look like a total dream.
First spotted on Instagram account @newfoodsuk, a gold version of the yummy buttons appears to be hitting supermarket shelves right now!
The post says the new Smarties Gold Buttons are available in ASDA, but we hope they'll be arriving in more shops soon!
They cost just £1.35 for an 85g share bag and are made from iconic Caramac chocolate. They sound like the perfect nibble to us.
The launch comes with a flurry of "gold" chocolate launches from Nestlé, including Aero Golden Honeycomb, Milkybar Gold and Munchies Gold made with Caramac.
The individual launches have proved so popular that Nestlé has decided to create the Golden Collection to celebrate the new gold chocolate treats.
Amy Bennett-Inge, Brand Manager said: “We’re beyond excited to introduce our Nestlé Confectionery Golden Collection! We’ve taken some of the flavours we know fans love best – caramel and honeycomb – and applied our chocolate-making wizardry to create new taste sensations.
“The Golden Collection features deliciously-flavoured products from four of our top sellers – Aero, Munchies, Smarties and Milkybar. We can’t wait for people to try them!”
The treats are available in various shops across the UK right now, and they're all under £2 - a brand new treat at a bargain price? We're so in.
