Gisele Bündchen Hasn’t Aged A Day As She Recreates Iconic Rio Carnival Look 20 Years Later
Oh, the joys of being a supermodel! All those designer clothes, hordes of loyal fans, glamorous holidays, red-carpet events... Not to mention getting to walk around looking like *that* all the time. And as if that wasn't enough, it seems Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen has added 'ageing backwards' into the mix, if recent photos are anything to go by.
The 42-year-old model recently shared a series of snaps of herself attending the world-renowned Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, flashing her incredibly toned torso in a pair of white low-slung jeans and a super-cropped top. Bündchen captioned the post, 'It was so special to return to Carnival and honor this beautiful celebration of our Brazilian culture.'
And if the photos look familiar, that's because Gisele's outfit is a major throwback to her iconic Rio Carnival look back in 2004 – and proof that she has barely aged a day since. Unfair, isn't it?
Bündchen famously attended the colourful celebrations in Brazil's capital almost twenty years ago, wearing a practically identical look consisting of low-waist white trousers, a Y2K-esque string belt, a tiny red crop top and her hair in loose waves. In both outfits, the model's top is emblazoned with the word 'Brahma', which is Brazil's most popular beer.
But beyond recreating looks from nearly 20 years ago, the world-famous model spent time in her home country enjoying the world famous parade, meeting performers and dancing happily along to the Carnival music with friends – following the news of her recent divorce from husband of 13 years, Tom Brady.
